Systematic review

In one lineA search for every study on a question, with stated rules.

Definition

A review that searches the literature with a predefined method, states what was included and excluded, and summarises the whole body of evidence rather than the studies the author happened to like. A 2025 systematic review of BPC-157, for example, screened 544 articles and found one human study — a fact no single paper would have revealed.
