Definition

Glycated haemoglobin, a blood test that reflects average blood glucose over roughly three months. The standard primary endpoint for diabetes drugs; a reduction of one percentage point is clinically meaningful. Tirzepatide and semaglutide were approved on HbA1c first and weight second.
