Definition
The Australian Poisons Standard category for prescription-only medicines. Most peptides — approved or not — are Schedule 4 in Australia, so possession without a prescription is an offence and imports without one are seized. Unapproved Schedule 4 peptides can still be prescribed and compounded for a named patient.
